Brand Strategist

We are looking for a part-time Brand Strategist to craft and execute our client's brand strategy, shaping their brand identity and market direction. This pivotal role will drive our client's brand positioning and ensure their unique voice resonates with their target audience, fostering lasting connections with their audience and driving business growth. This role demands a strategic thinker with a mix of marketing and design skills and strong business acumen.

They're changing the way people engage with activities by offering tailored recommendations to match different interests, moods, and budgets, setting new standards in how individuals engage and connect with personalized activities.

We do this by providing a tailored shortlist of designers taking into account factors such as industry, budget, time zone, and language preferences. Our design strategists ensure that the projects stay on the right track, helping companies achieve real business growth through design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and refinement of our client's brand strategy, covering all key aspects, including conducting thorough competitor analysis, defining the conceptual target audience, positioning, visual identity, and crafting compelling brand storytelling narratives.

  • Identify key target audience segments and develop personas, encompassing mindsets, attitudes, values, and behaviors, to guide brand strategy decisions.

  • Lead brainstorming sessions, workshops, and strategy discussions to drive creative thinking.

  • Craft compelling brand narratives and messages that resonate with our target audiences, reflecting the brand's values and mission, and ensure a cohesive brand voice.

  • Oversee the integration of the brand strategy into product and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment and consistency.

  • Ensure consistent brand representation across various dimensions, including tone of voice, copywriting, design, creative assets, media presence, and overall brand experience.

  • Establish key KPIs to measure the impact of brand initiatives and campaigns. Analyze data and insights to assess brand performance to recommend improvements/optimizations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience developing and driving brand strategies.

  • Portfolio of work that showcases successful execution of brand strategies.

  • Mastery in both visual and non-visual aspects of branding, including visual identity, tone and voice, brand story, storytelling, and brand personality.

  • Experience in both agency and in-house environments, providing consulting expertise and long-term brand strategy implementation capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable brand strategies that drive business growth and differentiation.

  • Native or fluent English. A rich vocabulary in English is a must.

  • Preferred Qualifications: experience working with early-stage startups or consumer apps in the lifestyle or personal development sectors.
